Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account, place an order, bid, contact us, or subscribe to a store channel. This may include your name, username, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order notes.

We also record limited technical and security data, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and account activity, to protect orders, enforce bidding rules, and investigate misuse.

How we use it

We use your information to operate your account, process and fulfil orders, manage auction participation, send service emails, answer support requests, and improve the store.

If you choose the WhatsApp updates checkbox at checkout, we use the phone number you supplied for order, tracking, and delivery messages. We do not sell personal information. Marketing messages are sent only through channels you choose to follow or where you have given permission, and you can leave those channels at any time.

When information is shared

Information is shared only where needed to run the service, such as with delivery partners, payment providers once connected, infrastructure providers, and professional advisers. Each receives only the information required for its role.

We may retain or disclose records where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect customers, resolve disputes, or meet a lawful request.

Storage and retention

Account and order records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational and record-keeping needs, and resolve disputes. Security logs and expired recovery tokens are retained for shorter, controlled periods.

Production uploads and database records are stored with access controls. No online system is risk-free, but Ghaib limits administrative access and uses secure account credentials and verified email flows.

Your choices

You may ask to review or correct your profile information, close your customer account, or request deletion of information that Ghaib is not required to retain. Some order records may need to remain for operational or legal reasons. You can stop WhatsApp order updates at any time by replying STOP.

A WhatsApp review is recorded for publication only when you reply in the requested REVIEW: format, which also gives Ghaib permission to use the review and your first name. To make any other privacy request, use the Contact page and include the email address associated with your account. We may verify your identity before completing the request.
